Sex, Life, & Hannah: Volume 3, Summer Season

First off: hi guys! It’s been awhile! I guess I took a little impromptu blogging break? Sometimes, ya know, it just has to happen. Anyway, I’m back today as part of the Sex, Life, & Hannah blog tour. It’s pretty much the same as a book tour, just with blogs! Get it? I reviewed Sex, Life, & Hannah back in the early days of LA Inspiration, and it’s since become one of my favorite book series! The newest book in the series, the Summer Season, is set to be released this week, and trust me when I say: it does not disappoint. If you’re a total bookworm like me, you could literally read all three books within a week, and I suggest you do.

The Summer Season picks up where its predecessors left off, chronicling the exploits of Hannah, a female professional trying desperately to make sense of the L.A. single life. Through broken hearts, broken dreams, and nearly-broken bed frames (yes—there is a lot of sex), Hannah grapples with the modern late-twenty-something’s conundrum: Does the fairytale life exist, and is it worth having?

Christian Knight had just told me everything I ever wanted to hear, and even though it almost felt like two years too late…

I fling my arms behind his neck, and start kissing him intensely. He presses up against me, squeezes my ass. I flinch a little, my tattoo still partially scarred, but feeling glad I missed the appointment to have it removed.

“All right, CK.” I lean my head against the wall, feel his mouth over my upper half, “I’ll marry you.” I grasp at his t-shirt and fling it off, he lets out a big, approving holler, and pulls me down to the floor.

We forget about the food and what temperature it’s at, our half-naked bodies rubbing amidst the heat of an apartment whose lone fan can’t cool it off quickly enough.

“Are we even going to remember this in the morning?” I ask playfully, biting as his neck.

“If we don’t, I’m sure the delivery guy will.”

Interested in the Sex, Life, & Hannah series? Well, you’re in luck. As part of the blog tour she’s giving away THREE sets of the entire series! All you have to do is check out the other stops on the blog tour and enter each person’s favorite quote (links to the other stops + the form to enter the quote are here).

My favorite quote is:

“Maybe love didn’t conquer all, and maybe having a husband, a wife, and a lover was the only way to survive anything long-term. But if love alone could not make a relationship last, it was still the element that brought people together, even after years apart.”

Good luck!
