I guess I’m really into yellow right now?? Anyway, it’s the official first day of Coachella and I’m super stoked! Gonna go do some arts and crafts in a bit and the music starts this afternoon. I’ve already seen some really awesome fashion and I can’t wait to share the Coachella style with y’all! Looking forward to seeing The Black Keys and Explosions in the Sky tonight (even though they’re kinda playing at the same time, boo). And a bunch more! Can’t wait for a day of music, sunshine, and fashion!

All Seeing Eye Brass Head Chain Piece ($18)

Goth Howlite Skull Bracelets – Pastel Punk 3 Pack ($25)

Raven Black Crow Feather Ear Cuff ($23)

Leaf Metal Ear Cuff ($12)

White Howlite Long Bullet Necklace ($18)

Last week I got a tweet from Francis Frank saying “Hey, check out this jewelry, it’s perfect for Coachella!” So I headed over to the By Francis Frank Etsy shop and immediately fell in love. Handmade jewelry made from feathers, quartz crystal, howlite, and brass.. Francis Frank, you had me at hello. The jewelry is unique, extremely well made (Francis sent me the All Seeing Eye Brass Chain Ear Cuff, worn here, and the Gold Hamsa Head Chain Piece), and sooo affordable! I mean, really, aside from custom orders, every single piece is under $30! Also, through the end of the month, you can get free shipping on your purchase with the code “MARCHMADNESS”. You can thank me later.

What do you think about By Francis Frank jewelry??

another outfit post while walking the dog i’m sitting.. hence the leash in my hand. he was being a bit camera shy today, though. it’s been pretty cold the past few days in LA, which i don’t really mind.. especially when i get to wear the biggest softest coziest sweater that has ever existed! when i was back in ohio last year, my aunt gave this to me and i kind of lived in it all winter long. i love that the sleeves are so long you can’t even see my hands. i’m practically wearing a blanket. also obsessed with this lace maxi my little bro got me for xmas. oh, and my “all seeing eye brass chain ear cuff”. i got it on friday and have basically only taken it off to sleep! i also got the gold hamsa head piece but i haven’t straightened my hair yet to make it fit my head… damn fro. i’m gonna do a blog post allll about by francis frank this week. you’re going to looove. hope you had a fantastic monday!

This past Wednesday I saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at The Observatory in Santa Ana. I’ve been seriously dying to see them live for quite awhile, and I fiiiinally did. And my life has been changed, basically. They are so incredible live, and the energy and passion that they have while performing is so inspiring. As is the energy and passion from the fans . Dancing around, singing at the top of my lungs, holding hands with strangers.. it was heavenly. During the last song, “Om Nashi Me”, a bunch of the members of the audience started climbing up on stage and singing with the band and it was soooo moving. I feel very lucky to have experienced Edward Sharpe live.. they’re coming to LA on May 4th and I think I may need to see them again! Check out this video clip I took of one of the new songs on their upcoming album. And if you haven’t heard of/listened to any of their music – do it. Now.

P.s., all the photos & video were taken with my phone, FYI.
